Fitness With P90X: Weeks 10 & 11

 

Hey all, I did not realize that I did not update you all on week 10 video! Opps! Today I will post the video from week 10 and week 11 so that you all can now were I am at so far. Week 10 was great and you will see the details in the video, however week 11 was a struggle, Grrr! I will not get bent out of shape about it, but just refocus and get back on track. Watch both videos to see what I am talking about for sure!

Stats:

  • Jan 8th: Start weight: 198lbs
  • Jan 15th: 198lbs (no gain/lose)
  • Jan 22nd: 196 (-2lbs) Yeah!! A loss and I will take it!
  • Jan 29th: 196 (no gain/lose) But I lost inches!
  • February 5: 195 (-1lbs) totaling 3 pound for the fist 4 weeks
  • February 13th: 194 (-1lbs) totaling 4 pounds in 5 weeks
  • February 20th: 192 (-2lbs) totaling 6 pounds in 6 weeks
  • February 27th: 190.5 (-1.5lbs) totaling 7.5 pounds in 7 weeks!! Getting excited for the next coming weeks!!
  • March 6th: 190 (-.5lbs) totally 8 pounds in 8 weeks!! I will take it considering I was sick.
  • March 13th: 188.5 (-1.5lbs) totaling 9.5 in 9 weeks!! Considering I was sick again with these darn allergies! Will they ever leave me alone?
  • March 20th: 188 (-.5lbs) 10 pounds in 10 weeks!!
  • March 27th:189 (+1lbs) 11 weeks 9lbs. Tough week with bad food choices :(

Fitness With P90X: Day 20 (KenpoX Day)

 

Phew!! I just finished my KenpoX workout from the P90X program. I swear today’s workout seemed to be a bit tougher than the past week. I swear I wanted to press the stopped button on my DVD play so many times, but I kept telling myself I can do it, I can do it!! And. . . I did!! Anyway, at first I was like why does it seem that way? So, after talking to my hubby he mention that last week you took more breaks during the workouts than this week which means that  I was working out much harder with less breaks. So, I was like Oh. . . yeah! That explain the buckets of sweat dripping off my body, lol. So, I am getting my endurance back!! Love it!

Today Is marking the end of week 3 and tomorrow is my rest day or stretch day that I am looking forward too! I also will be marking my results too tomorrow, so stayed tuned. I can already say my size 14′s are fitting a bit looser now which is GREAT!!! I was not about to move into a size 16, no way!! So needless to say I am looking forward to week 4 which will mark a month on the P90X!!

My meal plan today:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal and fruit and water
  • Snack: Almonds, string cheese and water with engery mix
  • Lunch: Dessert Lean Protein shake with banana and water
  • Snack: grapes and almonds
  • Dinner: Left over Chicken Vegetable couscous and fruit and water

Well, I better go and hit the showers! I just would like to wish you all the best week ever in whatever routine that you are doing to get back into shape!

Fitness With P90X: Day 5 Yoga, OMG!

 

Tuesday Jan12th, 11:16am:

I literally just finished the workout for the P90X Yoga and OMG it is tough! I have never done yoga before because I thought it would be boring and too easy? Wrong!! It’s slow paced, but hard as hell! There is a lot of muscle isolation throughout the entire body and let me tell you your body is working out very hard for sure! Throughout the 48 minutes that I did do I was sweating, no joke. I stop at that time because I was starting to feel fatigued, so I did want to keep going and injure myself. Which means next week my goal is to complete the entire workout. Heck if I can make it through 48 min and should be able and strong enough next week to complete this full workout! Yey! Did anyone of you do this workout? On your first time how long did you last? I swear my legs felt like 100lb weights, lol. The one pose that did it in for me was the crab twist position. Wow!! I am not as flexible as I thought, hee hee.

OT: While doing yoga I was looking at my toes and got scared because seriously, I need a pedicure now. My polish is chipping and nail. . .TMI I know, but it is true, so I will be giving myself a pedicure right now. Chat back later to let you know how my eating when for the rest of this day!

Anyway Day 6 will be working out with the Kenpo DVD!! I am excited and can’t wait to try!!!

Fitness With P90X: Day 4 Shoulders & Arms

 

Woot! Is all I can say for day 4 on the P90X! Yesterday was pumping some iron day for sure. I was the day for shoulders and arms and this workout will definitely get your muscles a burn throughout the 56 minute workout. There were challenges for me yesterday because time ran out for me and I did not prepare a long enough time slot to complete the entire workout. I was only able to do 40 minutes of the entire workout which is not bad at all.

I have to say I learned a lot about different movements that you can do to workout the bicep and tricep muscle. I really did not realize that there was so many movements that can be done to workout one muscle group! The movement that got my muscle burning was the chair dips with the triceps group. OMG!! On fire! Other than this, the workout was great! I felt that this day went really well and I can’t wait to see my results on Friday which is my weigh in day!!

What I ate:

break fast: 2 serving of oatmeal with milk, banana and water

Lunch: Roast Beef Sandwich with provolone cheese, onion and mustard on wheat bread, bananas and blackberries and water

Afternoon snack: Yogurt with a serving of blackberries ( love blackberries) and water

Diner and Snack: Healthy choice (no time to cook and was at work, so these come in handy for sure) and water

I hope posting my daily meals help. Please let me know if it does, because I know many people can not afford to join diet plans these days. Anyway. . . Today is day 5 and I am off to do P90X Yoga workout. Chat later :)
