Bollywood Inspired Bridal Makeup

Hey beauties! It’s a new week and why not start the new week with a fun and exciting colorful tutorial inspired by Bollywood looks! This week I am excited to share with you all a makeup collaboration with Jaya from Youtube Cheezz12345. She is a beautiful and fun makeup beauty guru from India that has a fun beauty channel on youtube that consist of makeup, beauty, skincare and even cooking, oh yes cooking videos! A while back she approached me with an idea to create Bollywood inspired makeup and I was so inspired that I said yes, lets do it! Jaya create a look that is Bollywood inspired, but with a western “Americanized” look.

New Years 2011 Makeup: Glittery Silver & Poison Plum Eyes

Hey Beauties!! I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and got everything you hoped and dreamed of for Christmas. I know my son was on cloud nine playing with his new toys and games all day long. Mr. Chameleon (hubby) had a great time with his gifts and looking forward to after christmas shopping with me! I got some fun clothing to wear in the new year, of course makeup gifts cards, Louis Vuitton Cosmetic pouch and more! So I am excited too on top of having the joy of being with my family and friends this holiday season.

Now. .  New Years Eve is right around the corner and I decided to create a fun and colorful bling bling look to help give you all ideas for your New years eye look! Happy Holidays my beauties!! I know that many of you out there are getting ready for some holiday fun with the holiday parties you many be attending this season. I am sure that you are shopping for the perfect dress whether the dress is bold and colorful or as simple as a classic little black dress. Whatever dress is your style you may be wondering what type of eye makeup would be appropriate for your dress, right? Well, I decided to create a classic smoky eye tutorial because I feel that this makeup look would work for any dress regardless if it is black or colorful. The smoky eye is very sexy, sleek and mysterious and to top that off I decided to add a bold red lip with it for my bold divas out there. Now, you do not have to rock a red lip with this eye look. Hey beauties!! I am back with another dramatic look for you dramatic divas out there that LOVE Sugarpill makeup. I was in the dramatic mood this weekend and decided to create a fun look using the Burning heart palette (that is by the way back in stock, yahoooo Update: it is out of stock again, but you can purchase it from the Makeupgeek site "click here" to find it. Raving Beauty: Dark Sparkle Blue In Peru Makeup Tutorial

Are you ready for some crazy brights? Wow! I am and let me tell Raving Beauty Cosmetics sent me some shadows that I have got to share with you all. I just recently receive a grouping of shadows and earrings to review and all I have to say is wow! I have been sleeping on these colors for too long. The shades I received are: Spring Light Blue, Dark Blue Sparkle, Dark Night & Peru.

As you can see from the photos the eye shadows are nicely pigmented with it beautiful satin finish. According to Raving Beauty Cosmetics the following shadows have the following characteristics:

  • SPRING LIGHT BLUE: Medium blue with a pearl sheen is tinged with a hint of green, resulting in a tranquil, cool and carefree pastel. Ingredient: Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Ultramarine Blue, Hydrated Chromium Oxide Green.
  • DARK BLUE SPARKLE: Lustrous, super-saturated blue with a low sheen. This medium-deep blue has a wonderfully mature, sophisticated, appearance. Ingredients: Mica, titanium dioxide, ferric ferrocyanide, tin oxide.
  • DARK KNIGHT:  This sparkly, translucent grey with a deep due undertone recalls the sky as it crawls into a stormy night. Ingredients: mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, baron nitride.
  • PERU: A profound and classic shimmery purple color. Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Dioxide, Iron Oxide

These colors are so amazing that I had to break out my makeup brushes and create a colorful tutorial! If you love the shadows you can find them at http://ravingbeautycosmetics.ecrater.com. Each shadow sells for only $5.00 each. Each 5 gram jar is filled with 1tsp of product. She also sell sample bags too for a $1.50 and each bag is filled with ¼ teaspoon of product.

I am amazed with the quality of the earrings for they are sturdy and of course look fabulous!!
