Sugarpill Cosmetics Review: Love it!

Hi Beauties!! I have been waiting a while to share this amazing line of cosmetics with you all. I am sure to many of you Sugarpill Cosmetics is new cosmetics line to you. However, to some of you beauty novices out there you may already be in love with Sugarpill Cosmetics, right? Well, a several months ago I was exposed to Sugarpill Cosmetics by a few of my favorite beauty enthusiasts on YouTube such as Goldiestarling, Pertilude, MakeupDoll, Gossmakeupartist, and my girl Kokofemme!! After watching all of their videos I have to say that all of their opinions about Sugarpill makeup was very consistent. They all agreed that the line of eyeshadow were very pigmented and wonderful to use for everyday looks, going out to your favorite club or useful to many makeup artists. I was truly amazed by all of their reviews and tutorials. Later on, I started to receive many messages on my YouTube channel (NHOP76) and private messages asking if I had tried Sugarpill cosmetics and if I would do a review and tutorials for my subbies? After receiving so many responses I was like ok. . . I better get on it!

So after many requests I decided to reach out to the owner, Amy, from Sugarpill Cosmetics and she was so nice to reach to me and send me a selection of products for me to try and review for you all, my amazing subscribers!! As you can see I received some fun goodies:

The following sent: 4 loose eyeshadows in Golidux, Tiara, Royal Sugar, and Absinthe, $12 each; Burning heart Palette, $34 each and according to the website this is a very popular quad of shadows that is currently sold out and I can totally tell why because they are amazing! Lastly, I got 1 pressed shadow in Bulletproof, $12. Now lets look at each product in detail.

The first loose shadow is Absinthe which retails for $12. According to Sugar pill this shadow has a A mischievous vivid lime green with yellow undertones. And very Shimmery!

Net weight: 5 grams

Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxide, Yellow #5, Blue #1, Palmitic Acid, Boron Nitride, Magnesium Myristate and Vegan friendly.

I was truly amazed with the shadow because of the pigmentation with just using primer alone was amazing!! Just imagine if you were to use a mixing media with it!! It would be fabulous!! The shadow was easy to blend and I love the fact that you get so much product for only $12. Just think of how much you pay for MAC pigments, or any other prestige brand's loose eyeshadows. A lot more dollars for less product, right?

Now let's talk about Goldilux, $12. Sugar says Goldilux is a brilliant, highly-reflective metallic gold with breathtaking shine. It's the brightest gold you’ve ever seen. The micro-fine particles are super tiny, so this looks amazing sprinkled all over as body shimmer too. (Body shimmer! O la la)

Net weight: 5 grams

Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Bronze Powder, Copper, Zinc, Silicon Vegan Friendly

I totally love this shimmery gold shadow. Not much is needed to build a high intense look with this one. Just wait until you see my upcoming tutorial using this one. I love it too!! You know me if it sparkles I am in heaven, hahaha 🙂

Okay. . Royal sugar, $12. This shadow is beautiful! Sugarpill says Royal Sugar is a striking bright blue with a heavenly burst of turquoise diamonds. The perfect hooker blue for a sweet girl like you. This would make a awesome dramatic eye look with a black cut crease. (dying to try!!)

Net weight: 5 grams

Ingredients: Ultramarines 77007, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Titanium Dioxide 77891, Silica, Tin Oxide 778161, Boron Nitride, Magnesium Myristate (Vegan Friendly)

Now everyone needs a shimmer silver like Tiara here, $12. Tiara according to Sugarpill is a bBrilliant, highly-reflective metallic silver with maximum shock value shine. The micro-fine particles are super tiny, so this looks amazing sprinkled all over as body shimmer too.

Net weight: 5 grams

Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Boron Nitride, Magnesium Myristate (Vegan Friendly)

On to the pressed shadows. Sugarpill has a variety of single pressed eyeshadows available in nine different shades. You all already know that I have many eyeshadows so I only decided to try out one since I was out of my favorite matte black shadow by Smashbox cosmetics called blackout. Sugarpill's Bulletproof is a perfect dupe for Smashbox's blackout and it is only $12 verses $16. Sugarpill says that Bulletproof is the deepest matte black with extraordinary pigmentation and lasting wear. From the Addicted to Pretty collection.

Net Wt. 4 grams / .14 oz.

Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Fumed Silica, Amorphous Magnesium Silicate, Bismuth Oxychloride, Dimethicone, PEG-4 Diheptanoate, Magnesium Stearate, Phenyl Trimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Hydrogenated polybutenes, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Vitamin E, Imidazolidinyl Urea. May Contain: Iron Oxides, Mica, Titanium Dioxide (Vegan Friendly)

If you are looking for brights then the Sugarpill "Burning Heart" palette is for you. The burning heart palette retails for $34 and features 4 bright beautiful shades of eyeshadows. I personally think everyone that loves dramatic shadows should have this in there collection. I truly love the consistency of the shadows considering that they are matte shadows. Unfortunately this awesome palette is sold out, but I am sure that they are working on getting more in soon for sure. So, I totally recommend to keep a look out for this bad boy for sure.

All in all, I am very impressed with the packaging, totally fabulous!! The product itself has wonderful payoff and I recommend Sugarpill Cosmetics if you are one that love bright, bold and pigmented eye colors. Stay tuned I will have a few tutorials coming soon using a variety of the products in this blog post. Until next time, if you use Sugarpill cosmetics, let me know what is your favorite too!!
