Makeup Haul: MAC Cosmetics, Sephora & Sally Beauty Supply

As you may now already I have these urges to try something new or something may be in trend for the season and you all know fall is approaching us. With fall coming the color palette for the season changes from the bold and the brights to the warm colors and sultry dark shades. This is my favorite time of the year to change the color palette a bit. Well, with that said led me to a beauty shopping spree!! Here are my findings that I will share with you:

Sally Beauty Supply:

Swatches of Stroll & Let’s Groove:

Out of the two the Let’s groove was my favorite! Just nice and dark and purple! Don’t get me wrong about the Stroll color it is so difficult to take off because of off the the glitters in the polish. I am so loving china glaze. I feel china glaze is just as good as MAC and OPI nail polishes and the price is half the price of both brand. You are also to find dupes of the expensive brands with china glaze too. (love it)

Later this month I decided to visit my MAC counter inside Macy’s. I wasn’t purposely looking for collection item but when I watched Ateya on youtube and other beauty gurus I was convinced of one thing. . . I must have rated “r” eyeshadow. So with that said I picked up mainly eyeshadows and the colors I purchase was:

The colors are so pretty and I could not believe how pigmented they were without primer. So, this was a great but and I will be definitely be creating a look with the colors, so stay tuned. . .

My last stop this month was over to Sephora. My mission there was to purchase the MUFE (Make-up Forever) HD foundation, purchase talika for lash growth and also check out NAR’s fall collection of eyeshadow duos. So here are my finding with that trip:

My color in MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundationis no. 173. So what do they say about this foundation and powder? They say it’s:

An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life.

What it does:
Creates a soft-focus effect, designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. It creates a complexion that looks flawless, even in bright or harsh lighting.

What else you need to know:
This Sephora-exclusive foundation comes in 25 different shades to suit all skintones.

I also picked up the HD Powder too which is:
What it is:
A universal translucent finishing powder to be applied over foundation or worn alone.

What it does:
Sets the foundation and slightly mattifies skin without changing its natural contours. This 100% mineral silica powder softens the appearance of imperfections. Completely evens out the complexion for a glowing, radiant look. One universal shade for all skin tones.

What else you need to know:
It’s completely translucent and goes on any skintone. Its talc-free formula does not dry the skin and is formulated with 100% silica. Dermatologically tested.

I have to say that I really like this foundation. it was not heavy on my skin and my skin had a beautiful flawless finish, but for this you will spend a bit, like $70 for both of the items together. Ouch! Lastly I picky up The Nar’s Brumes duo only because I wanted to see a smokey look with their shadows which by the way is very pigmented for sure:

The finaly my haul ends with the lash growing serum by Talika. The reason why I picked this up is due to the fact that I have been naughty with my false lash removal and pulled out a few hairs. So, I decided to pick this up to see if it would restore the lashes and promote growth. This will take 28 days to actually see result so stay tuned for a review.

So that pretty much for this month. I better be before I go broke, lol. Anyway I hope that this review was a little helpful for anyone that was looking to try these products and stay tuned there will be a video review coming very soon.

Chat later,

Tasha 🙂
