Benefit Stay Don’t Stray Primer: I wanted To Like It, But. .

Today I am giving you all my official review of Benefit's Stay Don't Stray shadow and concealer primer. You all may have seen me use this product is a few of my most recent tutorials and at that time I liked it, but now I know why I don't LOVE it. Before I talk about the why. . . Let me tell you what they say this product will do for you:

What it is: A 360 degree primer for concealers and eyeshadows.

What it does: Tell your eye makeup to stay, don't stray! This dual-action primer works 360 degrees around the eyes to make concealers and eyeshadows REALLY stay put. Concealers never crease and eyeshadows stay vibrant and true…you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!

What else you need to know: Stay Don't Stray preps, protects, AND perfects! Preps: The lightweight formula blends seamlessly into skin, brightens eye area to minimize the appearance of fine lines, and comes in a universally flattering nude shade.

Protects: Hydrates with sodium hyaluronate to lock in moisture, fights signs of aging with Vitamins C & E, and is paraben-free. Perfects: It's long-wearing to keep makeup looking fresh, locks on ALL concealers & eyeshadows and prevents creasing of eye makeup.

What I liked about it is that the product helps brighten the eye area to minimize the appearance of fine lines and the color was in a universal nude shade that was great for evening out the eyelid area is your eyelid was discolored. I also like that the product help hydrate with the sodium hyaluronate and it helped fight signs of aging with vitamin C & E, but. . . The thing that let me down was the creasing or fraying that occurred throughout my 8 hour work day!!

If you have seen my most recent tutorial "Kim Kardashian inspired makeup tutorial" you may have noticed that I applied this primer on my lid and I usually apply my primer on very lightly just so I don't overuse the product, right? Well, I let the primer set for a minute on my eyelid and let me tell you before I even applied any eyeshadow on the primer itself was creasing!! OMG! I have never had any primer do this to me before until now. Don't get me wrong, I truly love Benefit cosmetics, but this is one product I do not like. I wish Benefit would bring back the original primer FYI, that product was awesome!!
