Fitness With P90X: Day 3 Cardio X


Hey my beauty chameleons!! Well, I mine my fitness chameleons, lol. I thought that was cute to say. Anyway, today I finished out days 3 of the P90X and realized that I should be working out in the category of getting lean, so my days a mixed up a bit if you follow the workout plan schedule. What I mean is they give your three workout plans you could workout with such as classic, doubles, and lean. So, of course I want to get lean and get rid of all of this jiggly stuff on my body, hee hee 🙂

As you can tell from the title I did the Cardio X workout because I feel like I wanted to sweat and man did it make me sweat! I love this workout because it involves a lot of kick boxing and punching combos. I feel like a super ninja or something. But this is a lot of leg work in this workout and your are completing similar combos like the Plyometrics DVD’s which is fine. This workout was only 43 minutes long and I have to say I am proud of myself because I did not return home from work today until 8pm and after I got my son to bed and I my butt ready for exercise, so yey!!

For my meal plan, again it is not according to the guidelines 100%, but it is still have a great balance:

breakfast

  • Scrambled Eggs, 2 turkey sausages, and 1/2 banana (it was HUGE)  and water

Lunch:

  • Lean Cuisine pepperoni pizza and a orange and water

Snack:

  • yoplait yogurt and 3/4 cups of blackberries

Dinner:

  • Left over baked chicken wings, green beans and water

Snack:

  • Meal replacement drink and banana and water

One tip that I can give you is stay hydrated! It is great for flushing or toxins out the body and also great for beautiful looking skin too for you makeupnistas!!
