Fitness With P90X: Day 19 (Legs & Back|Ab RipperX)


Yesterday was a great day! I am so glad that I decided to go outside for my walk/jog in my neighborhood. The weather was beautiful and it was nice listening to the sounds of nature and being in the warm sun light. Sometimes, I suggest this in addition to the workout P90X workout DVD’s because after a while at least for me I start to get cabin fever and want to get out of the 4 walls, for sure! Being outside revived me and keep my up and ready for my late night YogaX workout!! I was a late night workout because I picked up the Michael Jackson: This Is It DVD and I had to watch everything plus the bonus DVD that came with it too! So I was watching the movie for a long time. If you have watched it did you realize that Drea Weber from P90X was one of his are0list for the concert? I was like OMG!! That’s Drea Weber!!! That woman as skills! So, that is why my workout was later that evening in addition to my 6 year-old having taekwondo that night too!

This week Yoga was enjoyable, still a little challenge in moves like maintaining the runners pose, but nothing major. Everything else was relaxing this time around. So week 3 at yogaX was not bad and I am glad because going into week 4 will be 2 days of YogaX, so I feel I will be ready for sure. You know what too? I am feeling a bit more flexible which is wonderful in many ways!! I now practice some of my sons Taekwondo kicks with him and I can kick much higher now! Fabulous!! And, my son looks at me and says wow mommy. Love it!!

Today I was to go into work, but when I return in will be time for legs and back and a full run through ab ripper this time. No more half workout. That workout is no joke!

My Meal Plan:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal, 1 serving of strawberries, 1 serving of canadian bacon and water
  • Lunch: Chicken/vegetable coucous, fruit and water
  • Snack: Raw Almonds and grapes (water)
  • Dinner: (get home late) Protein Shake, banana (water)
  • Snack: String cheese and grapes
