Fitness With P90X: Day 12 (Legs & Back) & Day 13 (Kenpo day!)


Hey all, how are you all doing with you P90X programs this week? So far this week is going well! I am feeling the water weight leave my body and my menstrual cycle comes to and end this week which is GREAT! Why, because I will be able to see some results on the scale tomorrow which is my weigh in day. So can’t wait for that. In the meantime I am noticing some improvements in the quality of my workouts which is great. I am able to do most of the workout which is 40 minutes or on some the entire workout itself, yey!! I am also noticing that my 10lbs weights that I use for my workouts are starting to feel light to me, so If during week 3 they appear to be too light I will be running up to my local Sport Authority Store to pick up some 15lbs weights, Yeah!! I am getting pumped!!

The workout that has become a new challenge to me is the Legs and Back that I did yesterday. This was the first time for me to do this workout because I switch my program last week and missed this workout. Wow!! My legs were worked out to the fullest! I swear, the wall lunge was off the chain. My legs were on fire, lol. The workout is 58 minutes long and I only made it through 40 mins, that’s not bad, but next week it is on (the entire workout will be done!)

My meal plan (sorry no pics today):

  • Breakfast: Protein shake, orange and water
  • Lunch: Protein Shake, organge and water (lazy chief, lol)
  • Snack: fruit, yogurt, and water
  • Dinner: Mc Donald Happy Meal (cheat day), grapes and water
  • Snack: Weight Watchers Ice Cream

Today is day 13th of the P90X program and I am excited because it is KenpoX day!! I love this workout!! I will be doing that when I return home from workout. I figure a late night workout will be my weigh in day’s best friend, lol. My meal plan today will be a little strict because I know I have to weigh in tomorrow, so not cheats today.

Meal Plan Today:

  • Breakfast: Protein Shake, banana, water
  • Lunch: healthy Choice Soup, salad and water
  • Snack: String Cheese and Grapes, water
  • Dinner: Lean Cuisine stir fry, salad and water
  • Snack: Light popcorn
