Miss Dior Cherie Set: Yet Another Favorite

To conclude my favorite fragrance series I had to included the beautiful Miss Dior Cherie. This fragrance debuted I believe in the fall of 2008 and when I first came across this scent I was browsing through my nordstroms catalog. When I opened up my catalog I was intrigued by a scent, so I was paging through the book to find out what I was smelling. Finally I came across a beautiful advertisement featuring the Miss Dior Cherie. Miss Dior Cherie was a new interpretation of the original Miss Dior fragrance. This sister fragrance according to Sephora combines pure couture spirit with a youthful and playful notes for a fresh approach to a timeless classic.

The notes in this fun scent are:

Green tangerince, violette, pink jasmine, patchouli, musk and delectably sweet strawberry leaves and caramelized popcorn for a delicious scent that's truly irresistible.

To me this fragrance is sweet, fun and modern.

I love then scent because it is fun and sweet yet sophisticated to wear for any special occasion. I believe I wore this so much last season to the point that I will have to replace this favorite this season too. If you have seen my fragrance favorites video I am down to a 1/4 of a bottle of this favorite. With that said I was browsing over at sephora and notice that have this awesome Miss Dior Cherie Set $79.

Michael Kors Fragrance: Another Beauty Chameleon Favorite

I guess I am on the roll with the fragrances this week, huh? I just loves fragrances as a whole because they can evoke a change in your attitude that you present to the world, a friend or your special someone too, right? I know when I wear Michael Kors Michael Kors Eau de Parfum I feel a since of warmth and bit of sophistication with this fragrance. For that reason, I tend to warm this scent during the winter months to work or a special occasion for sure! You may ask what are the notes of this fragrance? Well, according to most retail sites they state that:

"Michael Kors is tuberose reinvented. Creamy florals explode into exotic spices, tamed by Moroccan incense. A fragrant creation with a wealth of personality that will capture the heart of every woman."

Notes:

Dewy Freesia, Tamarind, Chinese Osmanthus, Incense, Fresh Tuberose, White Wings Peony, Blue Orris, Arum Lilies, Cashmere Woods, Musk, Vetiver Haiti.

After looking at the notes of this fragrance I thought Michael Kors had gardenia in it, but I guess it is the Tuberose that I am in love with along with the Peony and Musk. Now, to my surprise I have I thought I would be out of this scent by now, but I have plently of this one left so this year I will not be needing this beautiful Michael Kors Gift Set $92, that I saw at sephora. If I was out I would totally get this scent, but that totally doesn't mean that I could possibly pick this one up for the holidays as a gift I know a special family member would love just as much, right?

Flora By Gucci: Another Fabulous Fragrance For Fall

Oh yes! Another fabulous scent to share with you all. In my previous post I talked about my all time favorite fragrance which was Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy, but when I am in my sophisticated and feminine mood I fall for Flora by Gucci. Flora by Gucci launched in the spring of 2009 according to Sephora,

"This beautiful scent was inspired by princesses from the past, present, and future. The Flora Donna is a young, classic, and refined woman with the 'Gucci edge' of power and sensuality. The first Flora scarf was exclusively designed for Princess Grace of Monaco in 1966 and soon became one of the most popular Gucci icons. This scent is an expression of the Flora legacy. When I first saw Flora by Gucci in Sephora last year and smelled the beautiful notes of: Citrus Accord, Peony, Rose, Osmanthus Flower, Pink Pepper, and Sandalwood I was taken in and had to get it. The combination of the seductive floral scents already had my mind thinking of places to go to rock this scent. I was imagining myself in a beautiful gown walking the red carpet of Austin, lol. Well, maybe not walking a red carpet, but at least a night out with the hubby rocking a gorgeous cocktail gown and wearing Flora by Gucci.

It's funny how much I love this scent because when I looked at it today I can't believe that my bottle is almost empty, so with that said I think I will be hoping over to Sephora because during this time the of year you know they will have some gifts sets and to my surprise they have this one available in a set this year, Yay!! I must tell hubby to read this post, so that I can end up with a new one for Christmas, lol. The Gucci Flora By Gucci Gift Set ($94 Value) Flora By Gucci Gift Set $70, features:

Viva La Juicy Gift Set ($108 Value): My Favorite Fragrance!

Oo!! Another goodie I have to share with you today!! If you don't know me by now I just love. .  I mean LOVE Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy Fragrance. I have many favs, but this fragrance gives me life! When I wear this fragrance I get so many compliments on this one. People walk past me and ask, what are you wearing? Or  where can I buy your fragrance? As a result, when you get compliments like this I continue to wear this fragrance as my signature scent. If you have not tired Viva La Juicy you really should get out and go to your local Sephora, Ulta, Macys and try it out. You may ask, "What are the notes in this lovely"?

Lady Million Gift Set ($110 Value): Just Divine For The Holidays

I love when the holiday season approaches because that when all of the fabulous value sets for fragrances are available instore. As a christmas shopper myself I like to find fragrances for my special friends and family that looks glamourous for one thing and I also get a lot of product for my money. At my latest trip to Sephora I came across this luxurious scent called Lady Million by Paco Robanne.

What is it and what does it smell like?

According to Sephora Lady Million is to be Vibrant and sensual.  this fragrance's first breath comes forward like a voluptuous nectar of flowers. Powerfully seductive, the sparkle of bitter orange and a hint of raspberry reveal the fragrance's opening accords. Then comes the lethal weapon: heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath. Its narcotic sweetness reveals itself, bewitching and demanding all attention. Amber endnotes become all enveloping, floating around like a ray of light on a diamond.

Notes:

Neroli, Bitter Orange, Raspberry, Orange Flower Absolute, Sambac Jasmine Absolute, Gardenia, Patchouli, Honey, Amber. Style: Seductive. Bright. Luxurious.

When I tried it on myself you do get a whiff of the Amber and Orange notes right away, but once it settles I love the scent of the Amber Jasmine I smell on my skin. So for those of you that love these particular notes in your fragrance you will love this scent or someone you know will love this scent too. This scent is so gorgeous you can definitely wear this one to your upcoming holiday party for sure or if you are just feeling extra fabulous you could definitely rock this scent everyday too!

New Fragrance: Kim Kardashion

Hey beauties!! I have been out and about checking out to see what is the latest fragrances out there for this coming Valentine’s day. You know Valentine’s day is the biggest month for fragrance sales and that is when a lot of new fragrances from designers and celebrities will debut around that time. The latest celebrity fragrance I came across is Kim’s new fragrance. . . That’s right Kim Kardashian has a new fragrance out exclusively at Sephora! It is KIM KARDASHIAN KIM KARDASHIAN 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray!!

You are probably wondering how this fragrance smell like, huh? Well according to Sephora the fragrance:

When I went to try it out I has to admit it smell wonderful!! If you like Viva La Juicy, Flora By Gucci or even Burberry Britt you will love this scent. I have to say though, this fragrance smell very very similar to another favorite of mine which is Michael Kors! I swear it smells exactly the same. The notes of Michael Kors Fragrance are:

Juicy Couture Couture Review

Omg! I am in love. . . Okay now if you all don’t know I absolutely love, love, LOVE Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum!!! This fragrance embodies my favorite notes like Wild Berries, Mandarins, Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Jasmine, Amber, Caramel, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Praline. Just love it and wear it all the time! It’s the perfect fragrance that is teasing and alluring to myself and my hubby too. But now. . . Juicy Couture is luring me into another new favorite called Juicy Couture Couture Couture 1 oz Eau de Parfum Spray.

I came across this fragrance while I was reading my new issue of Instyle magazine. When I came across the Juicy Couture ad I was like Oh! A new fragrance. I almost turned the page, but instead I opened up the ad to reveal beautiful scents of succulent pink grape accord frolicking in a field of natural orange flower and mandarin. A heart of blushed plum and honeysuckle flirts with bold star jasmine. At back, creamy sandalwood lazes with moist amber in a haze of rich vanilla. It smelled so good that I was rubbing the fragrance all over myself, lol. I have got to get this scent for Christmas, so I have already emailed my hubby the beginning of my wish list for the holidays! That’s right, this beauty chameleon is already thinking Christmas!

Kat Von D Saint 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray has the scent of sweet nectar of Mirabelle Plum and sparkling juicy mandarin create an addictive, mouth-watering top. At the heart, exotic, heady Tiare flower and sweet, tempting caramel are adorned with the velvety floralcy of jasmine, the queen of the night, as she emits her spellbinding fragrance into the sky. Sensual vanilla and creamy musk combine with the warmth of sandalwood for a comforting dry down. When I tried this on in store and the fragrance smelled very light and floral and would be perfect to wear during the day time. A nice good girl scent for sure.

Then I decided to try on Kat Von D Sinner 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray. This one was very deep, sensuous and mysterious. The take of this one is Light, delicate top notes of orange blossom, refreshing mandarin, and fleshy plum create a provocative, sultry heart. Rich jasmine blends seamlessly with a white-flower bouquet, beautifully tainted by the spicy warmth of cinnamon, an herb associated with ancient rituals of pleasure. A dark, mysterious back of earthy vetiver, patchouli, and woods enveloped in creamy vanilla and sensual musk lingers on the skin. So, if your alter ego is not feeling so sweet and delicate of the saint fragrance this one will definitely fit your dark side. I really this one the best out to the two because of the jasmine and mandarin notes it contains.
