Review: Korres Natural Products Lip Butter, Jasmine

The winter time is sure taking a toll on my lips and you know that a makeup junkie like me has to keep her lips soft through this agonizing cold weather, right? Well, I was at Sephora a long time ago looking for a lip balm or treatment that would condition my lips just as well as the Tarte FRXtion. Why am I retiring the Tarte product? Well. . . the way the product is made can be frustrating. I am finding myself running out of the balm faster than the sugar scrub which means I have a stick with more scrub left on it than the balm. So, I was looking for a product that would treat my lips without having to fuss with the scrub being attached to it. Well, I can across the brand called Korres. Korres is a natural cosmetic and skincare brand that uses natural ingredients in their products. Not that being natural was a big issue to me I just wanted a lip product that was not greasy feeling or felt like I was putting petroleum jelly or Vaseline on my lips because those products only coat the lip and not treat them at all. Anyway, I read about this product and what it claims is the following mentioned at Sephora:

Korres Lip Butter gives lips a lovely, shiny finish and offers a natural flush when applied to the apples of the cheeks. Its shea-butter infusion conditions and heals lips and provides a softening touch to the skin.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens (all)
– Sulfates (all)
– Synthetic Fragrances (Guava, Wild Rose, Quince, Pomegranate)
– Synthetic Dyes (Wild Rose, Quince, Pomegranate)
– Petro-Chemicals (all)
– GMO (all).

So after reading that and trying a bit at the store I decided to pick up the Korres Natural Products Lip Butter, Jasmine. I have been using this lip butter since December I am so glad that I purchased it. For one, the color of the lip butter has a very natural lip color which means that I can use it underneath my lipstick to condition my lips without it distorting the color of the lipstick or gloss. Secondly, the price of the butter was only $10, yeah! And, my lips felt so soft and did not get flaky then and now too! All in all, I totally would recommend this product to anyone that needs some conditioning and want to minimize the dry flaky lip anytime of the year.

I love this product!! More Pictures:
