Hey my fitness chameleons, how are you all doing this Friday? I hope well, healthy and rested for sure. Well, I can’t believe that week two is done and now I will be moving into my 3 week of the P90X program. I have to say this week the workouts was not as challenging as much as the first week, so there is hope after all, lol. This week a noticed a change in myself. I felt stronger, not so much out of breath or as fatigued as week one which fabulous! I noticed that I have to say goodbye to the 5lbs weights and hello to the 10lbs weights. And, the funny thing is I may even have to say goodbye to the 10lbs weights in a week, so we will see. But, I am getting my strength back and flexibility too!
Overall, I am starting to love the workouts and look forward to them instead of dreading them. I am noticing that at the end of this week my clothes are starting to loosen up a bit which is a bonus and sign that I am loosing inches and building more muscle too. You all the follow me on Youtube are probably wondering did you lose any weight this week and. . . . .. YES!!! I am soooooo happy! I lost 2 POUNDS!! Yippeee! I am no at 196 pounds, so stay tuned. I will be filming the update video for sure.
My Stats thus Far:
- Jan 8th: Start weight: 198lbs
- Jan 15th: 198lbs (no gain/lose)
- Jan 22nd: 196 (-2lbs) Yeah!! A loss and I will take it!!
Today is my rest day which means no workouts, but I still ate healthy meals all day long and this evening too. My plan is as follows:
- Breakfast: Meal replacement shake, orange and water
- Lunch: Pizza lean cuisine, orange and water
- Snack: Sting cheese and grapes and water
- Dinner: Garlic butter pasta with chicken, zucchini and mushroom, salad and water
- Dessert/snack: apples with peanut butter
Tomorrow it is on to day 15, week 3 which means core synergistics, dang that mean banana/ boat movement. help me, lol. Well, I better go for now and enjoy the rest of my rest day. Good luck to you all and I will chat soon. . .

Great work! Don’t get too caught up in the weight tho, you might see more progress with taking body measurements than on the scale some weeks. The inches seem to come off faster for a lot of people as you build muscle while losing fat.
You’re right, the 10lbs weights will not last you long, especially with some of the back exercises. After checking out my options I bought a set of PowerBlock adjustable weights (I need to do a review of these on my blog some day) that go from 2.5lbs to 50lbs (and can be expanded further if need be). They have a set that also only goes up to 24lbs but don’t settle for those, save up for the sport 5.0 series, you might be surprised how much weight you will be lifting by the end of the program.
Hey Walter! Thank you so much about the tip on the adjustable weights. I may have to look into that. Thanks again, Natasha
